The first representation of the 2017 edition of the Ploye Show, in Edmundston, took place on Wednesday, July 5th. My colleagues Valerie, Vanessa and I had the chance to attend. The show features local artists of all ages who will make you travel through the last 50 years of music.
Upon arrival, good ployes were served at the entrance and some performers were outside to greet the audience. Inside, the theater room was large and the benches allowed everyone to have a good view of the stage. Once the show started, I was immediately impressed by the incredible talent of the artists of the Ploye Show. The animators, Bob “The Bobcat” and his brother Rodrigue “Rod” made us laugh all the way through the show by making many jokes as well as a humorous summary of the history of the Madawaska region. The artists of the Ploye show even offer a summer camp for young people where they will have the chance to be part of the show!
If you want to spend an evening dancing, laughing and singing, the Ploye Show is the perfect outing for you! The Ploye Show is presented from Wednesday to Sunday, from July 5th to August 20th, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Republic Provincial Park in St-Jacques. For summer camps, it is still time to send your entries for two of the three camps, including August 7-13 or August 14-20.
