About Axelle et Mélissa

Axelle is known in the region for her gospel singing, but last year she and Melissa started singing popular songs.  Axelle hails from the Ivory Coast and has been singing since she was a child.  Her unique, powerful voice will delight anyone who listens to her.  Melissa, pianist, has been playing for over 40 years, teaching piano at Long and McQuade in Grand Falls, and studying Music Theory and Composition and History at the University of Ottawa. 

The group offers covers by artists from English Canada, France and Africa.  Some of the Canadian songs can be changed in style, in order to introduce different styles of music to the region.

Join us on July 3, starting at 7pm!

In case of rain, the show will be moved to the Edmundston Arts Centre.  The number of seats being limited, it is recommended to bring your own folding chair, the entrance is free.
