Musical Wednesday with ÉCARLATE
About Écarlate
Écarlate is made up of Clémence Langlois, Daphnée McIntyre and Samuel LeBlanc, three multi-instrumentalists from Moncton, New Brunswick, who have been touching sensitive hearts with their moving ballads for almost three years. They made their debut at the height of the pandemic, winning Accros 17 and the 52nd Gala de la Chanson de Caraquet. Their emotional music, purely from the heart, maps their passage from adolescence to adulthood.
Écarlate offers a show that guarantees the audience a gentle, emotionally-charged moment, with songs that make you laugh and cry. The group, originally made up of 3 musicians, now offers a show with a 4th member, Luc Poirier on drums, to add energy to certain songs. The multi-instrumentalists use touching lyrics and melodies to allow audiences to escape from their everyday lives for the duration of a show. The band's style ranges from ballads to pop to folk, reminiscent of early Hay Babies.
Join us on July 10, starting at 7pm!
In case of rain, the show will be moved to the Edmundston Arts Centre. The number of seats being limited, it is recommended to bring your own folding chair, the entrance is free.
